The Lion's Den features Pinetop's best music and unbeatable drink specials. The Lion's Den owner and operator George "Hollywood" Hollingsworth puchased Pinetop's favorite nightspot in 1992.
The Lion's Den was built by a miner named "Walsh Mac" in the late 1930's who mysteriously disappeared and is said to still be seen occasionally in the bar. It was bought sometime later and the name was changed to The Melting Pot, then to the Mellow Mountain, then again to Harvey Wineburgers Den, claiming another original home of the Wine Burger.
The Building has survived two fires, a horse falling through the floor, several ghost sightings, and many other interesting events.
It was purchased in 1992 by George "Hollywood" Hollingsworth who has restored the bar and the history that surrounds this historic landmark
 
The Lion's Den offers a mix of live music and great atmosphere. Karaoke night is also popular at The Lion's Den. Our well stocked bar and great bartenders will create any drink you can imagine. Our large screen TVs make The Lion's Den a great place to catch your favorite team. During football season, we are a favorite spot for watching Monday Night Football with friends. Complete with Golden Tee Golf, and a dart board, The Lion's Den has all the ingredients for a great time.
